Speech Design began as a notes file. A small group of writers and designers trading drafts, transcripts, and tear sheets across kitchen tables and shared drives. We kept noticing the same thing: the best work lived at the seam where language met craft. This site is the file cabinet, opened up.
Today we publish guides for people who treat words and objects with the same respect. Editors, founders, typographers, and quiet perfectionists building a practice one careful choice at a time.

The 'language meets craft' philosophy
Words and objects are not separate crafts. A press kit, a portfolio, a product page, a keynote: each is built from sentences and surfaces, rhythm and restraint. We write for people who care about both halves of that equation, and refuse to choose between them.
